I just went and seen Rise Of The Guardians! Well a week ago actually, but still, I can't wait to go again! However I do apologize for the lack of pictures, drawings ect. My grandmother has taken a turn for the worst so all my works will have to wait. I did however draw a fan art picture of Jack Frost from ROTG and no it wasn't because he was cute (even though he is). I drew it because I fell in love with his character. He's brave but not overly confident, he (insert spoilers here of his past and how he because Jack Frost), he just has a lot of emotion and even when things don't go his way or he makes a mistake (because he's not perfect, my favorite part) he does his damnedest to fix it. So he is my favorite of the Guardians though bunnymund is a close second :3. I've also taken a few pictures of my cats and others and I'll try to post them soon.

Anywho, I'll scan it in and post it sometime after my grandmother passes and the funeral is over. It might seem cold that I'm saying that when she hasn't passed away yet but she can't eat or drink anything and it's been over three days so I know it will happen soon and she'll no longer be bound to a wheel chair or a bed, she'll be in heaven where she can move freely and watch from there until we are reunited again. She's been in pain for so long, both physically and mentally.

She had a stroke 2 years ago and at first she started to regain her mobility but the PT deemed it that she couldn't get any better and thus PT was unnecessary and therefor the insurance would no longer pay for it. So she began to decline physically and her mind followed. She then had another stroke that might have been caused by the extreme heat this summer.

Recently she's not been able to drink anything without coughing and finally about 4 days ago she suffered another stroke and could no longer eat or drink anything and have become almost unresponsive. If you talk to her she will try to talk back but when she does you can only tell basic things by reading her lips because she can't push out enough air to make enough sound and she can't move her body except for a few twitches from her legs when she's laid on one side for too long.

I love her with all my heart, she raised me and helped me even passed when her stroke happened. I would offhandedly mention my financial troubles and she would say just like she used to 'go get money from my purse' not realizing it had been used a long time ago to pay for hospital bills. She's been by my side, teaching me right from wrong and although we've disagreed about a few things it never changed that I love her and she still loves me. It's one of the few things I haven't had to read her lips for and that she has said clearly since the stroke 4 days ago.

Update: My grandma passed away December 10, 2012 in the early morning. I'm still too emotional to really go into detail. However, I did my first art project last week since her passing. It's still been really hard.

My grandpa was similar when he was about to pass. When I go there I at least got to hear him talk a little before he basically stopped talking all together. I hope you can get through her passing and move on which it sounds like you're in the right mind to do. Stay strong, and try to smile.
